Environmental Compliance Audits – Aircraft Maintenance Organizations

For an airport authorithy, Blackbird conducted envrionmental compliance audits of several aircraft maintenance organizations (both fixed and rotary wing) who were leasing property at the airport. The audit focused on petroleum storage tank compliance, hazardous materials and waste management, wastewater discharges, ozone depleting substances and emergency response planning. Tenants were required to provide the airport authority with corrective actions for findings identified as part of their lease arrangements.
