To support the registered ISO14001 EMS for a large Regional District on Vancouver Island, Blackbird completed environmental compliance audits of two waste water treatment facilities and seven pump stations. One treatment facility serviced a population of approximately 26,000 individuals, and the second was a primary treatment plant servicing residential and commercial users. Environmental topics included: air quality management, hazardous materials and waste management, water quality, storage tank management, emergency response and land/vegetation management. The audit process followed CSA Standard Z773-03.
