In 2012, Blackbird completed an environmental compliance audit of a hazardous waste treatment and storage facility in Surrey, BC.The facility solidifies oily wastes and sludges in addition to on-site wastewater treatment.This facility also provides a transfer point where leachable toxic wastes, waste oil and waste flammable liquids, collected from generators, are bulked for shipment to an end facility for final treatment and/or disposal.
